USPS was seeking out innovative packaging designs to assist them with their sustainability goals.
Solution
We recommended a Dual-Use corrugated box. Our Dual Side Print Patented Process (DSP), allows us to Register Printing on both sides of our package simultaneously in one pass. The Dual-Use package allows their customer to choose their timeline of delivery based on their needs. The Dual-Use shipping box offers the flexibility to use either a Priority or Express Service with one convenient package.
Results
Our innovative design eliminated the need to use a double sided adhesive tape, replacing it with a locking feature, reduced the need to inventory two separate items, cut the raw material needs in half, decreased the warehouse and distribution needs, and is a more cost effective carton. The Dual-Use corrugated box is now a more Eco-Friendly Package.
